Camp Location

Mondays-Thursdays @ Keith, 9am-3pm. Fridays are at the venue (all day).

The R&RI Production camp is a two-week experience for aspiring production enthusiasts aged 16 to 20. You are required to enroll and attend two weeks; Weeks 1 & 2, or Weeks 3 & 4, each includes end of week concerts that you will learn how to work at.

In our program, you will learn the complexities of audio and lighting engineering from the best instructors out there: Luxe Productions employees. They will walk you through the basics of audio/lighting setup and designing a rad rock show, all the way through the detailed intricacies of balancing sounds and tones, using color theory to produce spectacular views, and using “showstoppers” like cold sparks and video walls to create a memorable event.

On average, we have a 4:1 camper-to-instructor ratio, which guarantees plenty of personalized assistance for our campers. Together, we work hard throughout the week, and come Friday evening, we climb on the stage to perform our music and to present our show to our friends and family!

To be a member of the production program, participants must be aged 16-20 and have a valid driver’s license, or a parent committed to arriving early or picking up later than normal camp hours.

This fast-paced program is for those who are dedicated, have what it takes to be in production, and are considering a career in the music industry. Production Campers must be able to lift 60lbs.

Rock & Roll Institute Agreement | Terms & Conditions *

I understand that Rock & Roll Institute will do their best to accommodate all camper preferences regarding instrument choice, coach requests, and band selections, but I am aware that the RnRI staff can only organize bands based on what they are given with enrollment. R&RI can't accommodate food allergies and dietary sensitivities. Campers must bring their own dietary and medical necessities. R&RI Campers are responsible for their equipment, bringing and packing up. If I list myself as a multi-instrumentalist at time of registration, I am aware that I might be asked to play one of my secondary instruments during camp instead of my instrument of choice. I understand if I miss camp days due to illness or conflict, I may not be able to perform all songs with the band at the final concert (with discretion belonging to my band's instructor).

Media Permission & Agreement *

I, youth musician or guardian, grant permission to Rock & Roll Institute, to use my (child's) media (photograph image and/or video footage and/or audio recordings). 

I likewise understand that I (my child) may be identifiable from the reproduction of the media by the Releasee indicated herein this agreement.

I hereby waive my rights to inspect or approve the media for production that may be used by the Releasee for purposes stated herein, from hereon forward.

I likewise waive any right to royalties or any compensation arising from or related to the use of the image.

Camper Expectations & Agreement *

X ___ I will treat all musicians (youth and staff) with respect.
X ___ I will treat Keith School with respect, keeping it clean and only going into designated R&RI areas.
X ___ I will not touch others’ instruments or effects without express permission.
X ___  I will not consume alcohol or drugs before or during the camp day, nor will I bring any on premises.
X ___ If I am 18+ and smoke cigarettes or vape (a nasty, bad-breath, yellow-teeth disgusting habit), I will do so in the confines of my vehicle, out in the parking lot away from any youth.
X ___ I will drink plenty of water, nourish myself by consuming enough nutrients throughout the day, and make sure I am rested.
X ___ I will rest my ears when possible, preferably using earplugs, and be respectful of others' hearing as well.
X ___ I will be mindful of my body odor, as I will be in close proximity to other people (you know Jessica will have deodorant on-hand and will ask you to use if it you're stinky). 
X ___ I will clean up after myself.
X ___ I may not get the bandmates I want, or choose the songs I want to play, but I understand that is music and I will not be a stink about it.
X ___ I understand that camp does not end at 3pm, and I will practice at home to be the best I can be.
X ___ I will not leave early or leave for lunch (unless my parents have discussed this with Jessica).
X ___ If I am 16+ I may drive myself, but if I am a passenger under 18 Jessica will need written permission from a parent if I leave with a friend at the end of the camp day.
X ___ I will CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT DAILY.
X ___ I understand R&RI and Keith are not responsible for lost or stolen items, and I have labeled all of my gear appropriately.
X ___ I will communicate any issues I am experiencing with the staff, including mental, health, sensory, or emotional needs.

Registration & Enrollment Contract Agreement *

X ___I understand that if I break this contract, I may be expelled from R&RI without refund and barred from attending the concert concert, at the discretion of our Executive Director, Instructor Coordinator, and Camp Director.
